This notice explains how KhetKart handles personal and business information when a shop owner or authorised staff member uses the KhetKart Seller app, seller portal, or related onboarding and marketplace services in India.
We collect account and contact details such as name, mobile number, email address, shop name, business address and dispatch or pickup address. To verify a seller, we may collect PAN details and images, GST registration details and certificate, shop or business proof, and other documents you choose or are required to submit. We also process product listings, inventory, prices, order and return records, customer communications, payout or bank details when requested for settlement, and app diagnostics and device information needed to secure and operate the service.
We use this information to create and secure seller accounts; review onboarding and documents; operate listings, orders, invoices, returns and support; calculate applicable GST and seller charges; arrange delivery, shipment tracking and pickup through courier partners such as Shiprocket; process payouts through payment providers; send service and security notices; prevent fraud; comply with tax, consumer-protection and other legal duties; and improve the app.
We share only information needed for the stated service with: customers viewing a seller's shop and product information or receiving an order; courier, shipping and pickup partners; payment and payout providers; hosting, analytics, messaging and customer-support providers working for KhetKart; and government, law-enforcement or professional advisers when legally required or necessary to protect users and the service. We do not sell seller identity documents or contact lists.
Verification documents are used for seller verification, legal compliance and account protection, and access is restricted to authorised personnel and service providers who need them. Dispatch location and address information is used to validate pickup and deliver orders. We apply reasonable technical and organisational safeguards, but no internet service can guarantee absolute security.
We keep information while the seller account is active and for the additional period needed for orders, tax and accounting records, dispute handling, fraud prevention and legal obligations. You may request access, correction or deletion where applicable by contacting KhetKart support. Some records may need to be retained to meet legal duties or resolve claims. Closing an account may stop seller services and does not automatically cancel existing orders or legal record-keeping.
KhetKart Seller is intended for business owners and authorised adult staff and is not designed for children. We may update this notice; the current version and effective date will be published on this page.
